Welcome to Built Different. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Information

• This website is operated by Built Different, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
  
  
• All prices are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
  
  
• We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these terms at any time. Updates take effect once published on this site.
  
  

2. Product Availability

• Our drops are limited edition — once a release sells out, it may not be restocked.
  
  
• We aim to keep all stock levels accurate, but errors can happen. If an item you've purchased is unavailable, you'll be contacted and refunded straight away.
  
  

3. Pricing

• Prices are subject to change without notice.
  
  
• Discounts, promo codes, and bundle deals are valid only during the stated promotion period.
  
  
• Shipping costs are added at checkout.
  
  

4. Payments

• We accept Afterpay, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.
  
  
• All payments are processed securely; we don't store your card details.

5. Shipping & Delivery

• We ship NZ-wide using NZ Post Signature Track & Trace.
  
  
• Orders are processed within 2–3 working days of purchase.
  
  
• Shipping costs are charged to the customer and shown at checkout.
  
  
• You'll receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
  
  
• Please double-check your delivery details — Built Different isn't responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.
  
  

6. Pick-Up Orders

• Currently not available.

7. Returns & Exchanges

• Because our drops are limited, no returns or exchanges are accepted for change of mind.
  
  
• For staple items (e.g. tees, hoodies, or trackies), we may offer an exchange if the size you need is in stock.
  
  
• Contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order to arrange an exchange.
  
  
• Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned in original packaging.
  
  
• Sale or discounted items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  
  

8. Garment Care

Keep your Built Different pieces looking fresh:

• Cold wash only.
  
  
• Do not tumble dry.
  
  
• Iron inside-out on low heat.
  
  
• Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.
  
  
• For screen-printed or embroidered items, always wash inside-out and line-dry to preserve the design.
  
  

9. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email us within 3 working days of receiving it at builtdifferentadmin@gmail.com with photos and your order number. We'll repair, replace, or refund where appropriate under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, photos, and content on this site belong to Built Different.
Nothing may be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

11. Privacy Policy

Your personal details are used only to process orders and improve your shopping experience.
We will never share, sell, or misuse your information.
